Welcome to the weekend. Or as they say in France, le week-end.

Here’s a Spotify playlist of some recent top hits along with a few favorites thrown in for fun, along with a couple of videos.

There are some new-ish tracks from Bigflo & Oli, the big-time rap brothers from our former hometown of Toulouse. They have a collaboration with Julian Doré, who you may know from Dix Pourcent/Call My Agent as the hunky dude who plays a version of himself and makes a weird indy sex film (“The Ocean Cums”/L’Océan Jouit) with Sofia that makes Gabriel super jealous but gets her nominated for a Caesar.

You can also enjoy the sweet dulcet tones of British Popmeister Ed Sheeran singing a duet in French (a bit). Here’s the playlist:

I’m personally obsessed with Lomepal and the video for his song Décrescendo, which as depressing breakup songs go is remarkably bleak. But also: I want to know how they filmed what looks like a single-shot video which gets about as bleak as one can get.
